Who am I?

Hello! My name is Dave, as an artist I go by gopencyprep - as an artist I’m never satisfied with a single medium, I paint (acrylics mostly), I do digital illustration and animation, I’m also a videographer and a nightscape photographer. I figured since I’m up to so much stuff, I should have a bit of a landing page for anyone interested in my work as an artist - so here you go, here’s what I’m up to:

Simple Monster Party (https://www.simplemonsterparty.com/):
SMP is (so far) two series of hand-drawn 1/1 monster NFTs on SOL.
- The first collection finished and sold out, you can see the entire first collection here
- The second collection (SMP2) is currently ongoing, the collection (so far) can be found here. SMP2 is different from the first in that while a few of the pieces in the first were animated, every single SMP2 is animated

My photography
I currently have three photography collections:
INVITATIONS is a ongoing narrative throughline exploring dedication, attention, attraction and loneliness by depicting a glossy black mannequin following the viewer trough nightscapes
SIGNALS a completed series, is the answer to a question I've had since I was a kid: what happens in the desert at night when no one is around? This is what happens. These signals, these ethereal transmissions, these vehicles for communication we aren't calibrated to receive.
Strange Neighborhood is an ongoing series which may be a demonstration of the leaking of PFP culture from digital to reality, or commentary on inclusion.
